God is dead and Friederich Nietzsche
Famous philosopher and philologist wrote critical texts on religion, morality, contemporary culture that still raise considerable problems of interpretation. Shallow thinkers may not catch the deep meaning under his words. So i think, he is a hard nut to crack but it is worth to try. His influence remains substantial on existentialism and postmodernism. He has radical ideas including interpreting tragedy as an affirmative of life,an eternal occurrence, a rejection of Platonism, will to power, ethnicity, nationality...His some ideas go so extreme that he is often labelled as atheist or enemy of women. But i don't think he is so. Even his words ''women are baby making machines that are utterly subordinate to the desires and goals of men'' do not annoy me. i think he said so because he wanted to make men guestion their beliefs about women and we, women,to think of our purpose.but there is a gossip going around about what make him think of women as lesser creatures. it is his beloved ones leaving him and instead of him choosing FREUD.i do not know if it is true or not but i know that he is a man of deep thougts. Here is some of his famous quatations:'' what does not destroy me , makes me strong'' ,''there are no eternal facts, as there are no abslote truths'',man alone suffers so excruciatingly in the world that he was compelled to invent laughter'',''we are terrified by the idea of being terrified'',''what is it: is man only a blunder of God or God only a blunder of man?'',''love your enemies because they bring out the best in you'',''a joke is an epigramon the death of a feeling''. There is a lot to write but these may give some idea about his excellent use of language , his critical and eccentric thinking.
